Out of all the accessories that I own, scarves might just be my favorite one. If I had to shop for just one thing for the rest of my life, chances are I’ll choose scarves. Oh well, they hug you when you’re cold, you can turn them into a dress, and they don’t miraculously shrink when you’re pregnant. They can be used to keep you looking stylish in the fall, keep you warm in the winter and add some pattern to your outfits in the spring. From creating a professional look for work to a casual fall outfit, womens neck scarves transcend seasons and dress occasions.
But where do you wear and how do you tie all those different models of womens neck scarves?
Silk Scarf
This is a popular choice when it comes to spicing up work outfits. Silk scarves are a great way to add colour and patterns to an otherwise monotonous outfit. There are various ways that a silk scarf can be used. One of these ways is with a dress as a neck scarf. Roll the scarf, wrap it twice around your neck and tie it so that the ends come down towards the front of the outfit. Another way to wear a silk scarf is with a white shirt. A white shirt is a perfect base for a patterned scarf. Keep the scarf wrapped around your neck instead of draping it in front.
Blanket Scarf
A blanket scarf is pretty large, which means it can overwhelm an outfit if not styled correctly. Chances are you will wear a blanket scarf in the fall since it is made from warm fabrics and most of them have patterns synonymous with fall. You can wear it wrapped around your neck so one point of the scarf is hanging in the front. Just fold the scarf in half to create a triangle. Hold both ends of the scarf and wrap it around your neck. The point of the triangle should face down along the front of your chest. Another way to wear a blanket scarf is like a shawl. Due to its large size, a blanket scarf allows you to drape it around your shoulders quite comfortably.
Infitinty Scarf
This type of scarf is pretty easy to wear because it is a loop. It can be either a very large loop that you can wrap twice around your neck or it can be a smaller loop that is a single wrap around your neck. For a fall outfit, you can wear a grey knit scarf with a moto jacket, skinny jeans, and leopard print heels for the ultimate chic style. In the winter, you can combine a thick infinity scarf with a long cardigan, leggings, and fur snow boots for a comfortable and cozy look.
